Designed by arch. Italo Rota, multimedia, sensory perception and tastings are the key words for Italian wine pavilion. The house of Italian wines is an emotional journey and discovery tour of the five senses. After the Perfume Gallery, you get into a Roman impluvium, dominated by a marble basin seeming filled with wine. The surface reflect light effects with fireworks and drops of wine. Videos are screened on the walls re-interpreting famous cinema toasts, from Visconti’s The Leopard to Losey’s Don Giovanni while the exterior of the impluvium has “cin cin- cheers” in all world’s languages.
